The 'Thunderbolt' Shotgun is an "Purple-Tier" armourment for Crossout. Combining a fast rate of fire with more than adequate damage, it is able to strip opponents of their weapons and armor in seconds.

Tactics

The 'Thunderbolt' Shotgun's ability to rip away the opponent's armor at short range is its greatest attribute. Sustained fire in combination with a radiator component to reduce its overheat will allow this gun to output persistent high damage over a short period of time.

As with its other shotgun counterparts it should be protected with some form of armor otherwise its meager 154 pts. of structure will disappear to a single large hit or the niggling damage from a machine gun.

Dual 'Thunderbolt' use provides additional damage per second at the trade off of only allowing one to two points of Energy to be used for other components (Most likely a single radiator). The vehicle sporting this weapon may be fitted with a cloaking / stealth component to position itself to the flanks or rear of the enemy to hit the weaker armor in some builds.
