Steel Championship (rus. Стальной чемпионат) is a temporary event in Crossout.
Scar AB travelled the world a lot, visited its most remote parts and saw enough. Now he has calmed down a little, settled down and engaged in collecting.
The success of the Rat King and his arena pushed the faction head to action. Tons of fans, glory in the Wasteland — Scar AB loved this. And he wanted the same, and more importantly, he could have the same.
However, the collector and wealthy inhabitant of the Crossout world is capable of something more than arranging another arena bloodbath with the groaning dying and smoking debris. No bitter loners — only team play. No murders — leave the notorious violence to the Rat King and his talking monkeys, serious guys play by serious rules. And let everything be of respectable size: a huge field and a huge ball, assembled from steel strips and reinforcing bars. Excitement and passion — just like in the better days of the old world!
One of the most adrenaline filled brawls is back in the Wasteland! Assemble your perfect team of 3 players or prove to everyone that even without a well-coordinated team, your individual skills can achieve victory.
The Main Conditions of the Mode:[]
- Players can take part in the mode both as a group and individually as part of a randomly selected team.
- The match takes place in the “3 vs. 3” format.
- The match lasts 5 minutes. The team that scores more goals against the opponents wins.
- If a team leads the opponent by 5 goals scored, the match automatically ends with a victory for this team.
- In the case of a draw in regular time, overtime is appointed:
- gather all your strength and play as one, because during overtime, the first goal scored leads to the victory of one of the teams;
- overtime lasts 5 minutes;
- if during the overtime none of the teams scores a goal, the match ends in a draw.
- Participation in this brawl counts towards the assignment for 9 successful battles in brawls.

- if none of the teams scores a goal during the overtime, the match ends in a draw.
- Before the start of the game, each player can choose an armoured car and, accordingly, a role in the upcoming match:
- defender: quite mobile and allows you to temporarily disable the weapons of nearby enemies. Equipped with a shotgun that allows you to easily hit the ball, pass it further or even topple your opponents.
- forward: a classic option for the “Steel championships”. A high-speed armoured car with a harpoon and a crossbow.
- During the match, you can change your role by using self-destruction. Please note that after self-destruction, you will not be able to assist your allies for a few seconds.
- We have taken your feedback on the last “Steel championship” into account and made changes to the armoured cars of the mode.
- The focus on the ball option is now in a separate weapon group for convenience.
- The reward for the battles of the mode is wires.

- 51–500 places: 1 “Epic merchant case”.

- Now, before the start of the game, each player can choose an armoured car and, accordingly, a role in the upcoming match:
- goalkeeper: an armoured car on mechanical legs, low mobility, equipped with means to effectively (and spectacularly!) stop the balls flying into the gate and approaching opponents.
- defender: quite mobile and allows you to temporarily disable the weapons of nearby enemies. Equipped with a shotgun that allows you to easily hit the ball or pass it further, but only if the ball is in close proximity.
- forward: a classic option for the “Steel championships”. A high-speed armoured car with a harpoon and a crossbow.
- During the match, you can change your role by using self-destruction. Please note that after self-destruction, you will not be able to assist your allies for a few seconds.
- Changed the appearance of all the garages at the time of the “Steel Championship” event.

Blueprints have become more stable and their handling has also been improved;
- Now, instead of the “Spike-1” crossbow, a powerful “Ripper” disc launcher is mounted on the armoured cars. Thanks to this change, survivors will have more room for tactical actions, because discs can not only move the ball around the field, but also interfere with the actions of your opponents.
- The mechanics of determining an auto-goal has been improved.
- All players who have purchased the new “Extreme Football” pack will be able to compete on a unique football car from the pack with weapons modified specifically for this brawl.
- A new music track was recorded specifically for the brawl.

What’s new for this season?[]
- Changed blueprints of armoured vehicles for the brawl.
- Updated the “Central Stadium” map.
- Added a thematic music track for the brawl.
- Added the commentators’ voiceover. Now the match is commented by Hector and by his sister Paris!
- Now defending your gates from a goal will not only contribute to the victory of your team, but will also be counted as a useful action that increases the number of points you receive after the match.
- Now collisions with opponents deal damage to them or can destroy them.
- Added the option to attach the camera to the ball. This can be done by pressing the “E” key or the right stick on the gamepad. In order to restore the previous behavior of the camera, you need to press the same key again.

- Moving to each league level opens up a special currency — Steel Championship badges.
- After the end of the event, all unused “Steel Championship” badges will be withdrawn without the option to exchange them for any other resources.
- Badges, along with other resources, can be used at the temporary workbench “Fan tent” to craft unique decorations, stickers, CKs and paint cans (including a number of rewards from past football events).
- A little more about the rewards and their quantity:
- Untradeable and indelible rewards cannot be crafted if you already have one in stock (CK “Formula U”, paint cans «Fresh turf» and «Red glade»).
- Untradeable rewards can be crafted once, even if there is already one in stock (decor “Bobble-ball” and “Rusted rim”).
- Tradeable rewards can be crafted as many times as you like.
- The new rewards of the “Steel Championship” are tradeable.
- Additional badges can be obtained by completing a special challenge “Steel Championship”. You get 100 badges for completing it. The challenge can be completed only once per day. Incomplete challenges do not accumulate.
- For reaching the platinum league, the player also receives a unique epic rarity decor “Referee's whistle”.
- For reaching the diamond league, the player also receives a unique epic rarity decor “Fan duck”.
- In addition, participants in the battle earn reputation points and scrap metal at the end of each match.
