Snowstorm (rus. Снежная буря) is a temporary event in Crossout.
Description[]
Survivors! The "Snowstorm" has already begun, which means that it's time to destroy Gronch's insidious plans in "Christmas Heist" and get hold of unique New Year decorations at the "Lost and Found Explosives" workbench! Take part in festive missions and get special “Crackers”! Scar Santa is ready to exchange his valuable crackers for special New Year's decor, paints, stickers and fireworks!
As part of this event, the following were added:
- Christmas Heist - Brawl class game mode, but against the Wasteland Raiders (New Year 2018 and 2019).
- New Year Fever - a regular PvP mode, but you are rewarded with Crackers.
- Present Heist - Brawl class game mode, truck protection and escort (New Year 2020 and 2021).
- Secret Santa - PVE brawl (new for 2022), destruction or clear infected armored vehicles and bosses (trucks).
- Off we go! - special brawl (for New Year 2023), battles on aircraft vehicles.
- Lost and Found Explosives - workbench to craft New Year's gifts and upgraded versions of parts.
Lost and Found Explosives[]
- Using the workbench, you can craft New Year’s cosmetic items, a number of already upgraded parts with predetermined bonuses, as well as the “Lacerator” and “Mauler” saws at a reduced cost.
- All items on the special workbench are produced using “Crackers”, other resources and parts.
- The workbench will be available up to January 16 inclusive. After completion of operation "Secret Santa" the crackers can be obtained in special PVP-mission "New Year Fever".
- Please note that offers for the production of upgraded parts are periodically updated!
- The full list of items available for production, as well as their recipes, can always be found in the workbench’s interface in the game.
Attention, everybody! The workbench “Lost and Found Explosives” is open for business once again! Christmas souvenirs for your metal companion for every taste and colour! Take part in the special “New Year fever” mission, get “Crackers” and exchange them and other resources for whatever you like the most! New Year is here, and in the Wastelands it's just the time to change old crackers to new and unique rewards!

Celebrate New Year in the Wasteland! In this update you can expect a special New Year PvE operation, several brawls for the New Year holidays at once, traditional New Year’s garages and a number of important balance changes.

For the New Year’s Eve, we have prepared new brawls, some of which have been created with the help of bloggers and players.
- From 3 to 15 January, every day and for 1 day only, you will have 1 new brawl available with its own conditions and preset armoured vehicles.
- On January 16, you will again be able to participate in some of the brawls. They will change each other every 2 hours, starting from 07:00 GMT.
Invite your friends, take part in each battle, and share your impressions afterwards! We will be extremely interested to know which of the brawls you would like to see in the game in the future, and which, in your opinion, need some improvements.

10 Days of Surprises[]
Every day, from December 24th to January 2nd, when you enter the game, you will receive small gifts for the New Year. It can be both cosmetic surprises and quite useful items that will simplify the game and make it even more enjoyable.

Every day, from December 15 to January 12, unique offers will appear on a special “Lost and found explosives” workbench, during which you can upgrade a specific part and are guaranteed to get a predetermined set of upgrades using the “Crackers” and other resources / parts! During the duration of the offer, you can upgrade an unlimited number of parts.

New Year's holidays are on the horizon, and “Snowstorm” is raging in the Wasteland. Join the traditional fight with Gronch and his minions, get unique rewards for the best results, take part in the battles for the famous “Naukograd” and remember about the unique daily offers on the New Year's workbench!

- Every day, throughout the whole “Snowstorm” event, special crafting offers will appear on the workbench “Lost and Found Explosives”:
- for Decor;
- for Paint;
- for CK;
- for the new chainsaw “Lacerator”. Attention! The saw “Lacerator” can be crafted only during the New Year event “Snowstorm” as one of the special offers. At the moment, we have no plans to add any faction to the workbench.
- Several weapons at a reduced crafting cost.
- The offer is the same for all players.
- A new special offer appears every day at 00:00 GMT.
- You can use the offers for decor, paint and CK after their appearance only within 3 days. Offers for the crafting of chainsaws and other weapons are valid for 5 days from the date of appearance on the workbench.
