Description[]

Race icon

On the maps, which everyone knows well from bloody battles against live players and raiders, special gates are placed in a circle through which you need to pass. Of course, these gates don't form a perfect circle, so players don't have to just drive around the perimeter of the map. The tracks are marked with special signs, but in many cases the track forks, which allows you to choose the best path to the next checkpoint.

The player's task is to drive three laps faster than the opponents. After the winner has finished, the remaining players continue to fight for the next places. The higher the position, the higher the reward.

Unfortunately, it will not be possible to get rid of opponents, since all weapons are de-energized upon entering the mode and cannot be used.

Notes[]

  • In the update 0.12.0, the “Race” mode was divided into races for cars with wheels only and only with hovers. During one time window in the brawl schedule, only one type of race will be held on one of the available maps.
  • Found in the Wasteland container used to be a reward for winning the brawl.

Useful Advices[]

  • You should not assign too many boosters to one button. This can lead, if not to self-destruction, then to loss of control.
  • To increase maneuverability at high speeds, you can separate the boosters of the non-left and right groups and assign them to the corresponding mouse buttons.
  • The car must be made as light as possible for maximum acceleration. Since the weapon is invalid, it is better not to mount it, saving weight.
  • Do not abuse the steering wheels. Excessive maneuverability will only interfere. In addition, any wheels reduce acceleration.
  • It is worth paying attention to the wheels surface traction for cornering stability.
  • Be careful! Maps are not designed perfectly, so you should always drive carefully.

Interesting Facts[]

Since the Autumn 2016, players have been organizing racing competitions in the Escort raid: first one-way, then round-trip. Every day the rules became more complicated, other raids were connected, where players came up with ring tracks on which they competed without any prizes. Some - for the right to be considered the coolest racer. Others - to create the most optimal racing car. Still others - to organize races in heavy armored vehicles without boosters. And the fourth - simply because speed is cool! And so the idea was born to create a separate mode for racing.
