Therefore, for a while, university campuses, closed cities and large laboratories turned into branches of the world of the future. Until they became more like an amusement park in an insane asylum.

Many change into protective suits and go to the Wasteland, where no one prevents them from continuing their experiments. Over the years, scientists have accumulated a significant number of artifacts created by gadgets, and have learned to use some of them. So in their hands are samples of military equipment.
The ultimate goal of the scientists is unclear. But they are getting stronger every year. And they continue to comb the Wasteland in search of something. Or someone.
