Big Bad Bladespines is a brawl in Crossout.
Creation History[]
The idea was born in the Flame Raiders community to make an analogue of the Big Black Scorpions brawl with other relics. The Porcupine was considered promising weapon.
The first prototype was assembled by TEZARIUS - it was an armored car on the Duster cab, small caterpillars were used as a chassis, with accelerators against the direction of movement, the Cheetah engine, so that nothing would affect the reload speed. There were at least 8 barrels on vehicle. After the first race, the chassis was replaced with wheels for better handling, and the boosters were given a logical arrangement.
Starting from the first blueprint prototype, it was decided to use only one copy of the Porcupine weapon on the armored car, as well as use the Station Control-17 map for the fight.
Player RentalBlue created a different version of the car based on the Torrero's cab (because it had more power than the Duster). 13 ammunition, gasgen were installed on the armored car. For the best speed performance, two Hermes boosters, two blastoff boosters and a Cheetah engine were installed.
Decor and painting have been the subject of controversy. The legendary exhaust pipes were eventually abandoned, as the fire from them was a hindrance to the view. RentalBlue strictly insisted on the absence of any structural parts other than grilles, frames and bumpers, but TEZARIUS slightly modified the drawing before completion.
Documentation and interaction with developers was handled by TEZARIUS. RentalBlue was responsible for the drawings and proposed maps in the mode.
All the organizers liked the idea. On the first day after the appearance of "Big Evil Porcupines" in custom battle, a lot of positive feedback was sent to the organizers of this brawl. Later the brawl was renamed to "Big Bad Porcupines".

Interesting Facts[]
- PlayHardTV and AveMuru took part in test runs on the first versions of armored vehicles.
- For a while, the prototype of the armored car (without the Porcupine) was on exhibition under the name "FRT Divebomb v2", it was used for the first FR meeting in Cyberspace.
- On the first release version of the blueprint, instead of a jack, players can admire a crucified deer (Step Aside! sticker). This version also has double blade wings on the front.
- A revision with a jack, improved weight distribution and without blade wings can be found at the exhibition called "FRT BEP v3".
- One of the first options for the name of the brawl is "Divebombers".
“I was inspired by the gameplay of Porcupines in CBT, when you could install several engines and accelerate extremely quickly. Then the porcupines, armored with multiple grids, rushed around the map and threw barrels, as if “diving” at the target and moving away from the fire to the side. Now, the Big Bad Porcupines gameplay reminds me of deathmatch in Carmageddon 2 on LAN, you also drive, throw mines, dodge on acceleration... Once a player wrote to me in a PM, asking “the creators of the brawl” for winning strategy. I answered him: "You go, you bang." I believe this is the real truth."„
