Crossout Wikia

Battle Royale is a brawl in Crossout.

Description[]

Battle Royal icon

The ruins of an industrial complex, which is not far from the highway in the Red Rocks, have long been known in the Wasteland. Dozens of buildings, mountains of twisted rusty iron, skeletons of mechanisms frozen forever - all this initially attracted the attention of survivors who hoped to profit from something useful. But almost everyone who went here disappeared without any trace.

Here the laws of nature were distorted, and the place became the center of sandstorms. Inattentive travelers instantly become victims of the deadly element. The weather anomaly propels sand and air to crazy speeds, acting like a piece of sandpaper. Vehicles caught in a storm live for several minutes before turning into trash.

But it was not anomalies and treasures of past eras that made this area truly famous. The fact is that it is here that the Royal Playground is located, the place for the bloody entertainment.

Several dozen desperate raiders are transferred to special buggies, which, according to rumors, were designed by the Rat King himself. These light vehicles do not carry any weapons - they are scattered in modules throughout the Site. The task of the participants: driving this transport, to survive the longest - only one of them can be the winner. The weather anomaly will not allow you to sit still and wait, randomly overwhelming the polygon with clouds of sand, lethal for everyone who gets into them. The roar of motors merges with the howl of the wind in the valley - there can be only one winner in this chaos.

Brawl Features[]

  • Up to 32 Survivors take part in the brawl.
  • At the beginning of the brawl, all players appear at random points in the location and drive the same armored vehicles. A Borer is installed on the armored car as a starting weapon.
  • The player needs to find weapons, modules and structural parts at the location and install them on his armored car.
  • All these details are located on the battlefield at the points marked with flags. In addition to parts, you can also find repair kits and ammo / shells for your weapons.
  • In order to install one or another part on an armored car, you need to drive up to the flag and press R. Ammunition and repair kits are picked up automatically.
  • Attention! The ammo of all firearms in this mode is limited!
  • Attention! Parts mounted on armored vehicles do not shoot back!
  • Using the repair kit gradually restores the hit points of your armored car. One repair kit will restore 105 units to your armored car. Keep in mind that taking damage will end the HP recovery effect.
  • Each battle, parts and ammo appear on the points randomly.
  • A minute after the start of the battle, a special cargo appears on the map (the location is marked on the map and radar). In the future, the same cargo will appear every one and a half minutes. Anyone who manages to get their contents will become the owner of one of the most powerful weapons or modules. But be careful and always evaluate the possible risks.
  • After the destruction of the enemy, all the parts and ammunition collected by him will remain at the place of his death. And, of course, you can get hold of something new.
  • And, probably, the most important thing - never forget about the storm, watch it move around the map and don't let it take you by surprise. Unlike confronting other Survivors, you will have little chance if it overtakes your armored car.
    • The damage dealt by the storm depends on how deep you are in it.
    • Storm damage also increases based on the area of the map already covered by the storm.
    • If you get into the storm radius in the middle of the map (when the storm has taken over everything), a bug can occur: if 2 players are still alive, hiding somewhere nearby, the storm moves, but does not kill them.

Strategy[]

Initially, all players at the start are given the same car, equipped with a Sprinter cabin and one contact weapon Borer, which differs for different players only in painting.

Br car

There is no initial set of ammunition and repair kits. The weapons that the survivor picks up on the map in battle do not have ammo. All weapons, modules, armor, as well as repair kits and ammunition, the survivors find themselves on the map or take them away from their opponents (if he had any before the destruction).

List of Parts[]

List of parts a player can pick up and replace during the brawl.

Weapons

Installed on hood and roof of the vehicle (each weapon has predetermined slot for installation/replacement), standard binding - LMB and RMB.

Modules

Modules can be active (for example, invisibilie or shield) or passive (for example, radar or engine).

Front part

Front armor or additional contact weapon, which is indtalled in front.

Back part

This element is additional protection for your vehicle.

After destruction of enemy vehicle the survivor can pick up weapons and armor as well as ammo and repait kits.

All elements are randomly placed on the map and are marked with a flag.

Special weapons drop over time to a random location on the map. Until the box is opened, it glows with a marker, after which it explodes and leaves legendary weapons or armor in its place.

After a certain interval of time, the safe zone on the map moves, narrowing more and more, and those players who are delayed or stuck will be very unlucky to get into a wild storm.
